It’s very steep from the camp to the summit. The toughest part of the hike.
DAY 2: Camp to Base.

Mount Karisimbi is the highest mountain in Rwanda and also the highest of the Virungas. The Virungas consist of 8 volcanoes (Karisimbi, Mikeno, Muhabura, Bisoke, Sabyinyo, Gahinga, Nyiragongo & Nyamuragira).
